Vision

An inclusive and responsive Centre of excellence in youth development.

Mission

To empower and guide the youth with skills and information for self -sustainability and national development.

Strategic objectives

  • To continuously adopt and offer training programs and service that ensure production of competent crafts technicians demanded by the job market.
  • To continuously improve the management and resources mobilization capabilities in order to ensure sustainable institutional growth, development and competitiveness.
  • To continuously adopt appropriate technological innovations in the institutes’ training programs.
  • To establish and foster effective working and collaboration linkages and mechanisms with relevant stakeholders for efficient and effective training of the learners.

The Institution’s structure

The Board of Governors

The Center has a functional board of governors which is appointed by the Ministry of Education and Sports and it reports to the Minister of Education and Sports.

The Centre staff

The Centre has 53 staff members comprising of both teaching (28) and non-teaching staff (25) members. The Principal is the Head of the institution and all staff members are under him/her. The Principal reports to both the board and the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education and Sports through the Department of TVET Operations and Management.
